Aliko Mendy Care Initiative (AMCI)
Restoring Dignity,
One Life at a Time
The Aliko Mendy Care Initiative (AMCI) is a Zambian-founded non-governmental organization devoted to restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity to the most vulnerable in society. Grounded in compassion and guided by sustainable principles, AMCI exists to empower communities through integrated humanitarian relief, social upliftment programs, and long-term development strategies. We believe that true transformation starts with the heart but it is sustained by action. From disaster relief to mental health awareness, orphan care to elderly support, and environmental protection to poverty eradication, we operate with a simple yet profound mission: to ensure that no one is left behind.
Our work spans across urban and rural Zambia, focusing on inclusive and community-driven interventions that prioritize dignity, agency, and resilience. Through our Vision 2031, we are actively laying the foundation for a more equitable, united, and self-sustaining Zambia one family, one village, one dream at a time. Led by our founder, Aliko Mendy Sankutu, AMCI is powered by a deep commitment to faith, integrity, and justice. We are not just offering aid we are building bridges of hope, opportunity, and transformation for generations to come.
Together, we rise.
